Clipping guide 01
Clipping is the editorial and production process of finding a meaningful moment inside longer content and rebuilding it as a complete short video for a specific audience and platform.
Choose a moment with standalone value
Add opening, context, pace and captions
Respect platform behavior and specifications

Cropping changes the frame. Clipping changes the communication. A clip needs enough context for someone who never saw the source, while preserving the speaker's meaning and avoiding misleading edits.
Podcasts, interviews, webinars, founder recordings, lessons, livestreams, product demonstrations and campaign footage may work when rights, audio, image quality and brand rules are suitable.
Look for a clear opening, one main idea, evidence or story movement, readable captions, intentional pacing, platform-safe visuals and an ending that completes the thought or supports an agreed action.
Start with your source, rights and objective.
